Furthermore, throughout my time as a student, I had several teachers who truly left a mark on me: those who managed to make learning more engaging, those who found ways to make things easier to understand, and those whose passion for what they did was truly inspiring. They constantly fueled my desire to one day become like them. Because of this, I view education as a process of accompaniment and support where every child should feel heard, valued, and capable.

Since graduating, I have had the opportunity to work with children in various environments: as an extracurricular and summer camp instructor, providing tutoring and learning support, and, of course, as a teacher. All these experiences have allowed me to discover the kind of teacher I want to be, how to connect with children, and my own understanding of education and teaching.

In particular, my last experience as an Early Childhood Lead Teacher at a Montessori school broadened my perspective and allowed me to discover a way of understanding and practicing education that aligned closely with my own views. I found a way to accompany children that truly supported their development and learning while respecting their unique paces, needs, and individuality, giving the best of myself at every moment.

Even so, I am aware that I still have much to learn and that being a teacher means continuous learning and evolution. For this reason, I am currently completing a Master’s Degree in Inclusive Education, as I believe inclusion is a fundamental aspect of education—one in which I want to keep training to better respond to the needs of every student.

For all these reasons, I believe Mayrit is a place where I can continue to develop my vision of education, grow as a teacher, and offer the best of myself.
