Víctor Muñoz
MENTOR
From a very young age, my relationship with education began through sports. While in high school, I was given the opportunity to coach different sports, and it was then that I realized my future would be dedicated to childhood and education—though I didn’t yet know in what capacity.
I studied Primary Education with a specialization in Physical Education. I spent one year of my degree in Portugal and completed my final internship in Mozambique, where I had my first real, hands-on experience in primary school teaching. I continued my growth through various courses, such as Nature-Based Education and Supporting Sexuality in Childhood and Adolescence, discovering new ways to accompany children
After graduating, I moved to Ireland to work in an early childhood school. For two years, I served as a mentor and had the opportunity to train in the use of Montessori manipulative materials, putting them into practice in the classroom. Upon returning home, I worked in a bilingual school while providing private tutoring in English, Math, and Language.
Eventually, I decided to seek out schools with a closer, more individualized approach—places that truly respect each student’s unique learning pace. This path led me to Mayrit, a place where I feel deeply aligned with the educational model I always imagined. Here, alongside the team, we grow and learn every day to provide accompaniment rooted in respect and care.
Currently, I continue to train and look toward new courses to keep growing professionally. At the same time, I remain deeply connected to my neighborhood, Carabanchel, participating in local associations as a youth football coach and providing academic support, among other activities focused on community building and environmental care.
